This journal is specifically in response to ^StJoan's challenge to feature in journals ^.^

The Chosen

=DarthLukan

Being more than just a writer, he is a US Serviceman, playing with some big guns in a scary place. His man attraction being his "Dark Angels and Light Demons" novel, he has several notable pieces beyond this, one of which is my favorite short story I have read so far on DA. Not only does it display historical accuracy, but it really tugs at the heart with what people were being to experience at the time. Give Death of Innocence the lovin' I know ya'll possess. ^.^

A wonderful friend, father, and supporter, John (

) has followed me as closely as I him. Though a couple decades separate us in age, this relationship is proof age means nothing when it comes to writing and learning. A great poet and artist, he has stunned us with his beautiful pieces ever since the beginning. My Sin, is one of my most recent favorites from him. He has been having what he feels is a 'dry period', yet the multitude of stunning words he has given us to enjoy are more than enough to keep us from being parched.

P.S. - I would love to have a CSS to really display these features as they should be, yet I don't know where to even begin with such an endeavor. So, any help/suggestions would be more than appreciated! ^.^

That's awesome. Just the other day, I was remembering how, when I first joined, I used to link people to deviations I stumbled on and liked.

I haven't done so for a long while. I might pick it up again, just because.

So posting features in journals is a good thing! I like stumbling across other people's work through features and such.

It's kind of like word-of-mouth gone digital.

I'm so sorry for not checking my DA page more often, I have been involved in a few things, treatment, missions, and my work on Dark Angels and Light Demons.

you dear woman

thank you - I appreciate the feature in your journal. a lot, and thank you for all the wonderful assistance in critiquing my efforts.

You help me take my final versions, and polish them into somehow, something even more closer to what I wrote.

And, I am writing again, just, not posting it yet. I am learning to let my newer things sit a bit. That way, I can tell if they are headed in a new direction or are just tripe

I am enjoying the thinking time though,

Do you have any recommendations for my reading list? Poetry preferably - of course. I am rather tired of novels for the now.
