I was hired through a phone interview several weeks ago, but once we had moved, we did the legal paperwork required the new job I have obtained. For the time being, I am making about $1200/month working in the Deli of the local Kroger grocery. Not what I had ever imagined for myself, but I am enjoying it none the less. I can see why they have had trouble with keeping people there, but it is the type of environment I tend to thrive in. The lady who hired me has full confidence of my ability to rise to management in a short time, but we shall see if that is even a direction I desire to go.

Now that I am falling into a pattern with work and home life, I have been setting aside time to get some writing done, and being richly rewarded for it. Even though I have nothing to show for it *right* now, there should be many completed edits and new pieces in the future.

Alas, the paper and pencil call to me, and my cat is stealing my keyboard. Until morrow...
